Conditions of delivery
- Unless a different deadline is stated in the respective quotation, delivery of the goods in the Netherlands, and Belgium takes place within approx. 5-10 working days after the conclusion of the contract (in case of agreed advance payment after the time of your payment order). Relocations, holidays and external influences may delay delivery in rare cases. We deliver from Monday to Friday.
When can I expect delivery?
- All our materials are distributed from 5 different distribution centers in Germany
- After you receive an order confirmation, we will immediately start working on your order
- Within 2-3 business days, your order will be driven to the carrier in the Netherlands
- In the Netherlands, your order will be checked again for completeness and/or damage
- Your order is then immediately scheduled on the next business day that the carrier operates in your zip code area

- So the delivery time depends on when in the week you order and where the materials are to be delivered
- Delivery time can take 5 working days max 10 working days
- Everything is delivered directly from stock
When will my ordered products be delivered with different delivery times?
- Parcel shipments are distributed centrally from our depot in Germany with GLS.
- GLS handles all types of parcel shipments up to a width of 750mm and a length of 1850mmÂ
- As shown in the shipping table, we try to calculate an optimal flat rate for all package sizes.
- Shipping of package goods is particularly critical, as orders often need to be packed in 2-3 packages to ensure safe, compliant packaging.
- Shipments with GLS take 2-5 business days.
- Delivery via freight transport takes 5-10 working days
Can I also pick up my order?
Yes, it is possible to pick up your order. Once you place your order, you will receive an email notification within 3 to 5 business days when your order is ready.

Shipping costs
Level of charges for shipping
Our shipping methods consist of 3 categories:
- DHL; our samples are shipped from the showroom in Rotterdam and cost €6.99
- GLS; all package shipments (including garden greenhouse slabs) are sent centrally from Germany and cost €29.99
- Freight delivery; all orders with sizes larger than 1900mm in length, 700mm in width will be delivered by freight transport and will amount to
€79,00€44.90 (action) in NL and from €89 in Belgium - Formats with a length longer than 5100mm will be delivered with freight transport and costs €119,00 both in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- The amount of the delivery/transport costs are automatically calculated based on the size of your order and are directly visible in your shopping cart.Â
How do I know which category my order falls into?
Your shopping cart will automatically show you the correct shipping method based on the products in your cart. The shopping cart will automatically choose the shipping method for the product with the largest size.Â
To consider
- You must be personally present at the delivery address when the goods are delivered by the forwarder (you will be contacted early to discuss a time window with you, where the delivery can take place)
- Note: exact time cannot be agreed upon, due to circumstances beyond S&V's control (traffic, order volumes)
- Your personal presence is a requirement; partly because you have to confirm the delivery of the goods in writing, and partly for the unloading of the goods with your help, in that you support the forwarder's employee in physically unloading the goods from the freight transport to the curb.
- Therefore, you must be physically able to lift a weight of up to 30 pounds. It is not possible to agree on a specific time for delivery.
- The forwarder will coordinate delivery with you on a day Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays) in a time window from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Your presence at the delivery address is required throughout the time frame. A more precise time frame will be established by the forwarder in a timely manner in advance.
- We offer return shipping of your goods at regular delivery charges. The goods must be returned in original condition to receive the full financial equivalent value.
- The return period is 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- We do not deliver to the Wadden Islands, we are happy to coordinate a location with you to deliver the goods as close to you as possible.
- If you are ordering from Belgium but outside the Flanders area, please allow for a longer delivery time.
